OVERVIEW
This training comprises a wealth of age-appropriate therapeutic interventions, tools and techniques with fascinating theoretical underpinnings from the latest research in child and adolescent psychology, psychoanalysis and neuroscience. It aims to support the practitioner to enable vulnerable children/young people to move from mental health problems, troubled relationships and mind in torment, to mind in peace. In this endeavour, delegates will gain key therapeutic skills from Emotion Focused Counselling and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy.

- 6 training days
Please note: the training can be attended without assessment and the award.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
The training is open to Practitioners who have received the TISUK Diploma qualification (not just attendance). Those you received a ‘Pass’ will be invited to a small group interview session’ free of charge’. TISUK Practitioners who hold a Merit or Distinction do not need to attend a small group interview. Please read our duty of care to delegates.
On successful completion of the assessment delegates will receive an Advanced Certificate in Therapeutic Skills for Trauma Recovery.
