Guided by leading facilitators, you’ll explore  emotion-focused therapy,art therapy interventions, and psychoeducation to help people name, express and process painful life experiences.  Learn how to help group members develop  empathy, reflection, and emotional awareness and a true sense of belonging, building the foundations for lifelong mental health.

Discover key models of  Group dynamics,Emotion focused therapyTransactional Analysis, and trauma-informed practice, while gaining hands-on experience and expert live skills practice supervision from the trainers. With a strong focus on  safeguarding,assessment, and  referral, this course prepares you to create truly healing group spaces.

Who it is for: 

 TISCUK Diploma or wellbeing training equivalent, counselling or psychotherapy qualification, or senior counselling/psychotherapy trainee status (with at least 100 live training hours with a tutor present).

Cost:

£745 including the assessment day, or £645 without the assessment, no VAT (early booking recommended due to limited places)

Advanced Certificate in Therapeutic Group Work with Children,Young People and Adults

COURSE STRUCTURE: 

4 trainings days and 1 assessment day, live online. Online sessions are live and interactive, so delegates are required to have a camera and microphone on their device and delegates are expected to have their cameras on for the duration of the training. The delivery of content is intensive, and 100% attendance is expected. 

Assessment Day: Delegates will undertake a short PowerPoint presentation. This presentation should demonstrate how you have applied the course content in practice. To be eligible, you must have facilitated small-group work with children, young people or adults using the key models and theories introduced during the training.
