Designed to support Senior Leads to implement trauma informed and mentally healthy practices into their school, this course will ensure that Leads have knowledge, skills and understanding to translate the approach into policy and practice to drive crucial change and optimise the well-being of both adults and pupils in their school.

The course is officially CPD accredited by the CPD Standards Office, with 12 hours of CPD awarded upon completion.

This short film captures the journey of an academy trust we’ve had the privilege of supporting as they’ve worked to embed trauma-informed practice across their schools. Senior Lead Training was a fundamental part of their trust-wide commitment to creating emotionally safe, relationally rich environments and a culture where staff feel supported and children feel seen, heard and understood.
