Senior Trainer
Jill draws on a extensive career in education having taught in special and mainstream schools, across all key stages from Foundation to Key Stage Three, in both urban and rural settings. She enjoyed a range of leadership roles, including being a headteacher across two different schools for over fifteen years. At the heart of her leadership was a passion for quality education recognising the whole child, their social, emotional and academic learning and how these interweave.
Fully cognisant of the challenges facing schools and the need for inspiring and skilled practitioners to be working with our children, she is keen to bring her experience to support wherever possible, as well as delivering high quality training and development. Understanding how these opportunities shaped her own path, she is delighted to be able to have this as a focus for her work.
Jill provides supervision for TISUK Practitioners.
In addition, Jill is a Counsellor, MBACP, working with adolescents in a secondary school setting.
Jill considers it an honour to be part of the Trauma Informed Schools team benefitting and empowering children, families and staff in settings across the country.
